How To Determine The Amount Of BTUs Needed

Below Deck
Length x Width x 6' average height x 14 BTU
Example
10' x 7' = 70 sq.ft.
70 sq.ft. x 6' = 420 cu.ft.
420 cu.ft. x 14 BTU = 5880 B.T.U. + 1000 BTU
Topside (area above main deck)
Length x width x 7' average height x 17 BTU
Example
18' x 11' = 198 sq.ft.
198 sq.ft. x 7' = 1386 sq.ft.
1386 x 17 B.T.U. = 23,562 BTU + 1000 BTU

All self-contained a/c kits include:
25' of 4" round non-insulated ducting
20' of 5/8" sea water hose
One (1) plenum (transition box)
One (1) standard control panel
One (1) Seawater Pump
One(1) hardware assortment pack (screws, clamps, etc.)

1 - Seawater strainer 3/4" inlet/outlet
1- Bronze 3/4 thru-hull fitting
1 - Stainless steel ball valve 3/4"
4 - 3/4" stainless steel hose clamps
1- 3/4" threaded to 3/4" barb fitting
1 - 3/4" nipple
3' - sea water hose
